Chadō Urasenke Tankokai România - Luminiş Association is a non-profit organization.
The Association offers the possibility to study and practice Chadō for regular students and for temporary visitors. Any person or legal entity, regardless of nationality, who wishes to study and practice Chadō or to carry out research regarding Chadō, and who accepts the bylaws of the Association, may become a student within the Association. Such an individual must not have a record of, or currently practice any activity contrary with the goals and objectives of the Association.
By becoming a student within the Association, you will contribute to the continuation of the transmission of this historic tradition and its fundamental principles of harmony, respect, purity and tranquility for generations to come.
To apply for studentship you have to complete an application form. The application form can be filed on-line or it may be found at the Association Headquarters.
Students pay an annual registration fee and receive a student identity card which is renewed each year. Registered students are taught by certified instructors of the Urasenke school of tea.
The persons who are accepted as students do benefit from a series of advantages including: access to the Association Library, invitation to special events and use of the Association facilities for practice and other events related to tea.
